How to Utilise Security Systems during the Covid-19 Period?

Remote Monitoring of Workplace
One of the main concerns we hear is the security and safety of office premises. Many of us are now either on alternate shift or only required to head back to office on designated days. Business owners are looking into ways they can monitor the office even when they are not physically there.
 
One option is to have their CCTV system hooked up to the internet and you can view live feed and playback anywhere remotely. Some home owners have also done so to monitor their elderly parents especially when they are not living together. Some businesses have also used their CCTV system to monitor and ensure that safe distancing measures are adhered to in the office.

Access Control with Temperature Screening
Temperature taking is now a mandatory procedure at all workplaces and another requirement is to keep a temperature log for tracing purposes. We have helped many businesses deploy Access Control System that comes with temperature screening feature.

The system will authenticate the user access and concurrently take his/her temperature. If the user fails any one of the criteria, he/she will be denied entry to the premise (e.g., if his/her temperature is above the preset range or if the user has no access to the area). Apart from these, the system is able to keep a log of access and temperature data for retrieval if required.
 
Deployment of Thermal Temperature Camera for Heavy Traffic Areas
Another frequent question we receive is how to conduct mass temperature screening at areas with large crowd (e.g., Shopping malls, Office building and etc.). For areas with high traffic, we would usually recommend to have a thermal camera installed at the entrances of the premises.

Thermal cameras are designed to screen large crowd at any one time. If abnormal temperature is detected, an audio and visual notification will be triggered to alert the personnel mending the post. This is one of the most effective and efficient method for mass temperature screening.
